Can general relativity play a role in galactic dynamics?

We use the gravitoelectromagnetic approach to solutions of Einstein's equations in weak-field and slow-motion approximation investigate impact General Relativity on galactic dynamics. In particular, we focus a class for gravitomagnetic field, show that, contrary what is expected, they may introduce non negligible corrections Newtonian velocity profile. These are homogeneous (HS) i.e. with vanishing matter currents. how recent results about dynamics connected this solutions.
